Website / Privacy
Privacy notice.
This notice describes how Recoup handles business-contact information submitted through recouplegal.com.
Do not send client or billing data
This website is not a secure file-transfer channel. Do not submit client names, matter details, claimant or medical information, invoice data, LEDES files, carrier reports, credentials, or other confidential material through the form or ordinary email.
Information collected
When you use the contact form, Recoup receives the information you choose to provide, including:
- Your name, work email, firm, and role.
- Your optional high-level description of the carrier or portal creating the most reduction work.
- Basic technical request information used to deliver and protect the form.
How the information is used
Recoup uses this information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether a workflow review is appropriate, protect the website from abuse, and maintain necessary business records. It is not sold or rented.
Service providers
The website and form may use hosting and email-delivery providers, including Vercel and Resend, to route your submission. Those providers process the information to provide their services under their own contractual and privacy terms.
Retention and protection
Business-contact information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, the resulting business relationship, security, and legal or operational recordkeeping. Recoup uses reasonable administrative and technical measures, but no internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete the business-contact information you submitted, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. Email bijan@recouplegal.com. Do not include confidential client or billing data in the request.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as the service and website change. The current version will be posted on this page.
